We understand that this is a stressful and uncertain time for you. As a student, you may have many questions on a variety of aspects relating to your academic studies. Please refer to the University’s information and FAQs section.

as well as services within the university, there is a wealth of information online to help support you at this time and we know it can sometimes be overwhelming trying to navigate through this to find the right support you need.

SilverCloud self-help modules
ljmu has partnered with the self-help cognitive behaviour therapy programme, silvercloud. you can access the online programmes to help you deal with anxiety, depression, stress or body image issues. take the information and techniques you learn from each module and apply them to your day-to-day life.
silvercloud have recently added an additional resource ‘space from covid-19’.

Fika - mental fitness
下载好玩吧app下载we have also partnered with mental fitness app during covid-19, enabling us all to benefit from an additional tool to stay motivated, productive, focused and connected during this period of remote work and study.
下载好玩吧app下载in response to the global covid-19 pandemic, fika has created a dedicated series of programmes allowing students (and staff) to learn from expert psychologists, other students, academics and professional athletes in five-minute video, audio and text programmes.

to ensure that we are able to continue supporting our students, counsellors will be available for booked telephone support calls, in the first instance. they can also offer a follow-up check -in call if required, and, or signpost you to further online resources if relevant.

our mental health team can offer telephone support for students who are currently struggling with their mental health. our team can provide information and resources to help improve mental wellbeing, or signpost students to external services appropriate to their needs.

The Occupational Health Unit at LJMU seeks to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of our staff and students.
